It's been a very long time since I've been here and written anything... time and life just take a hold and the swirls of ink have come to a timid standstill. In time, another quill will find the inkwell and scribe the echoes of a lexis unspoken.

But... I don't like to leave without something that is interesting (to me at least...). Here's a very interesting find (if not very old by now). DeCSS (which is the key to decrypt a standard dvd movie), it was released in haiku form. Technology and Linguistic tongue at work~ [link]

I apologize for the recent flood of my therapy writing. I thought it more productive to see if it would fare any good outside of my head.

It has been quite some time... good time spent and bad times have been endured. I will say that I have never stopped writing lines here and there, maybe enough for five or more poems (each their own subject), but they have yet to be refined.

I have lost people dear to me. Physically, socially, mentally- permanently. This is now weighing heavily on me emotionally and writing does not ease it in any way shape of form like it has before. I have friends, family, colleagues, and aquaintances... work, workout, work-in-progress, writing... and therapy.

Therapy is a mixed practice of wolves and rabbits, each vying for stability. One (pardon my french) fucks for sanity and the other eats the sane for dominance. My only problem is simple identification.

Someone is in the wolf. And there is a wolf at the door.

Who... is my wolf?

Not of myself, but of the hours it fades. I wish I could sit in my inkwell longer, than dry up on the streets as I walk from inkwell to office. My poetics have dwindled, my love life has received a boost, but far from it to say that I'm happy about it. All problems may fade with time, but solutions are best with a side of fried calamari and maybe a peanut butter sandwich. ( And despite what I've said before, those two together are quite delicious. =3)

My birthday of the 10th was quite a night out on the town. I'd tell you about it, but that would be quite the short tale... for as much as I can remember. But what I do remember is...

• Dive Bars are not as fun the second time.

• Do not forget to tip the waitress, for she is performing menial tasks for your comfort and leisure. As a friend would say (he must have gotten this from somewhere else...) "Tip at least a buck or your a cheap f***!"

• Makes sure that the person driving does not receive too much harrassment about being designated for your safety. They may just decide to leave you there at the bar.

• Glasses these days do not seem to able to hold the mass of violently projected vomit. Aim well, if you can.

Day 176


-You may be vulnerable to cussing when you refuse to move your belongings from the seat next to yours by a stranger, though there are numerous empty seats around the way.

- Little children can be quite a joy when experiencing their first aerial flight. Little children can be quite a pain when tthey choose to kick the back of your seat through half of the flight.

-Do not tell flight attendants airplane jokes. Chances are that they have heard them all repeatedly.

-Gravity exists everywhere within the planet Earth's atmosphere, so do expect that used motion sickness bag to come back down when your child happily thinks it's a new toy.

-Many people have flown in the very same seat that you have when you are seated. Just hope that the odd discoloring was due to spilled coffee.

-Once a flight attendant helps you, do not feel that she is the only one that can provide you with service. They are serving all that are on the plane and do not become your personal friend.

-Having a young child onboard may garner a bit more attention from the flight attendants on the plane. Having a mental patient onboard will also do the same.

-Having one arm rest between chairs is sometimes a power struggle for dominance. Having multiple headsets can become a mess of noise. Having a person behind you can hinder your reclining, but having the window seat gives you something to look at while the rest goes on.

Over the years, I have heard many, many quotes. Most are influential and often times educational in a sense of morale, others.. other are just downright humorous. Here are some I personally enjoy, albeit wittiful or morally clever.

Day 26
The Merry Get Merrier

- In the mall, if you are selling perfume and one walk passed you uninterested, chances are they won't be interested the next time passing by.

- It's normal to see kids on Santa's lap. It's a bit odd to see a teenager on Santa's lap. It's just wrong to see a grown female's head in between Santa's lap.

- It may be true that you got to the store first, but someone else got the item you're looking for.

- If a product is sold out, it doesn't mean that the clerks are hiding some in the back just to peeve you off.

- You are not obligated to listen to carollers, especially the off-tune groups.

- When assaulted by neighborhood kids throwing snowballs, it is quite alright to retaliate and put one in the hospital. It's a gift and a lesson rolled into one.

Day 5
Subways ARE Mobile Deep Freezers.

- If you want to look at someone's newspaper, asking if they are done with it every 15 minutes does not speed up their decision. In fact, it just makes them take even longer now that they don't like you.

- It's okay to wear headphones on the train ride. It's not okay to lipsynch to strangers. You'll look like an idiot.

- Yes, if you do pass a gas emission on the train with many hoard of people, you most likely will be undetected as people gag and gasp for clean smelling air.

- It's fine that you leaned into someone when the train runs along a curve. It's not funny the next 10 times on a straight run.

-If you don't wear deodorant, you are not entitled to spread your arms to the top of the seats.

- Never write your phone/cell number on the train. It's assured that more people than you desired will call you.

- Avoided sitting next to women with babies on the train. They may be cute little buggers, but they can spit projectiles faster than a viper strike.

Day 12/1/06-
Corporate Takeovers Suck.

- Take out any applicants named after Anime characters. No matter how skilled they are, they will try an anime manuver on you, nearly causing you harm or a concussion.

- Never accept coffee with 'special' creamer. The reasons are obvious, especially when the deliverer giggles madly when you try a sip.

- Avoid office romances at all costs. If any bedroom antics go wrong, you can be assured that the next day will be the worse day of your life due to the dreaded Office Gossip Group.

- Never try to outbid someone over something that you have no clue about. You might end up with a piece of crap worth $5 that you paid $240 for.

- It is not acceptable to use your hands if there are no more cups by the watercooler. It just looks stupid. And you're going to wet the floor and maybe your pants.

- It wasn't okay in school when you borrowed a pencil and never returned it. It's still not okay to borrow my expensive pen and never return it.

- You are not in a playground. Stop twirling around in your swivel chair.

- Calling someone that is a couple cubicles away really shows how much of a resourceful employee you are.

- You can make fun of your boss as much as you want. He can only fire you once.
