About the Author
I contribute semi-regularly. The semi-regularity of my contributions increases when I take creative writing classes, and decreases during the summer. I mostly write humour. I think we could all benefit from laughing more. I hear it cures cancer. True story.
Also, did you know that the Canadian Charter of Human Rights can pretty much be revoked by the government anytime it wishes? Isn't that awesome? Yaay Canada.

Just to let you know, "Significance" will definately be in on my project...sorting through a bunch of favorites trying to find ones that fit the theme....I'll let you know if any more of yours crop up in my search :) Thanks so much for letting me use it.....
Creativity is essentially a lonely art. An even lonelier struggle. To some a blessing. To others a curse. It is in reality the ability to reach inside yourself and drag forth from your very soul an idea -Lou Dorfsman

Hey!  Thanks for making my piece one of your favorites!

I, too, am a big fan of grammar and am continually correcting family and friends when they misuse language.  However, I like to manipulate grammar when I write to let the reader know when my thoughts are punctuated by pauses or in a jumbled mess.  There are also symbols in grammar that I find visually stimulating (such as the colon, the slash, and the ellipsis) and I use them as much for artistic reasons as for grammatical ones.  As long as I misuse grammar for a purpose, I don't think its that bad.  When I use incorrect grammar and don't know about it, that's the real problem.... (notice that I used four dots on this ellipsis because it is at the end of a sentence)

You seem to have the same appreciation I have for grammar, and I am so glad that you do.  At the same time, I like to see grammar as a dear friend that is always there to back me up, but doesn't mind my flights of fancy.

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment!  I adore the word "lovely".

Wow, I admire your honesty.
But truthfully, that poem really didnt have anything to do with me. For some reason I just thought of the first line and it went from there.

The fairy tale one was a personal exprience though.
