In Dads house- stuff would always get moved or broken- and Amber and I would get blamed for it even if we were nowhere near the object in question. one particular incident was with a flourescent lamp my dad bought.

When you walked out of the kitchen to the living room there was a tile walkway which led behind the couch to the hallway with the bedrooms- and across the room to the left was a small entrace way that led to the front porch. My dad set the lamp in the closet in the entranceway and told us over and over not to touch it because it was expensive.

amber and I both agreed that we wouldnt and when dad and Chrissy left to go out to eat (or wherever it was they went i dont really remember) Amber and I went into our room to play with toys- therefore we wouldnt be anywhere NEAR the lamp-

A few hours in however Amber and I were startled by a loud shattering sound outside our door- Me and her got up and opened the door and stepped into the hallway to find the flourescent lamp broken on the tile behind the couch... we had no idea how it got there- not knowing what else to do Amber and I picked up what we could- set the broken glass in the lamp itself and laid it on the couch-

we were the only ones there- we didnt touch it, and we STILL got in deep trouble for breaking it.

great.
