Hello, I remember reading a piece by you...but it was awhile ago. I don't remember which one, but I remember the name.

Anyway, I was just stopping in to say happy birthday. May it be great, and may they be numerous. :]

I bet, dass du mehr Deutsch sprechen kann als ich. hahahahahaha... I bet I slaughtered that sentence.  Ich kann nicht mit kleiner Kinder sprechen, weil mein Deutsch sehr schwer ist. Ich schreibe auch am schwerest Deutsch. Hahahaha. I know I killed that one. Meh. Ich habe morgen eine Prьfung, und ich bin nicht ready. Wow, you've studied the Germ for a long time. I only have, let's see, a year and five months studying it. So, three college semesters going into four.

Wow, I wish my birthday would have been as kick arse as yours. I haven't played video game marathons in years; puberty took away all the marathons!!! Then, I would say that your days are very fucking awesome. My days consist of me figuring out what homework I have to do, and maintaining my procrastinating scheme alive so that I don't have to think about homework until I have a test, and then stress and kill my mind over such petty shit. haha. I try not to think about it, though. It makes life interesting: not giving a lot of crap about shit...

Ich kann Deutsch sprechen, aber nicht viel. Ich kцnnte mit einen kleinem Kind ein Gesprдch haben. But not much more. I can understand more than what I can say, and I can type it far better than I can speak it. I've been studying it for about two and a half years now.

As for my birthday, it was fairly uneventful. I woke up at 11:00am, started playing video games and didn't really stop until 2:00am. Then I went to sleep, and that was about it. This is more or less how my every day plays out

Alrite. hahahaha. No problem mate, ye owe me nichts besonderes. Okay, all this time I've been assuming that du kannst Deutsch sprechen... So, I guess, when you answer that assumption I will know... haha...

How was your birthday? Considering that you almost forgot it?

Aha. The cemetery sounds both peculiar and interesting. I think I'd very much like to visit your country someday. As it is, I may well be going to Europe for an extended stay sometime in the next couple years.

Probably because the cemetery doesn't get enough publicity. It's located in the northern part of Romania and, like any other cemeteries, it has graves and funeral stones and yes, people are actually buried in there. But the locals don't consider the concept of death as something sad or threatening. On the contrary, they think about death as an achievement. So they thought of "decorating" their cemetery with joyful sculptures, colourful stones and funny grave inscriptions. I recommend the ones about mothers-in-law.

I'm afraid I didn't know that there were any such problems in central Europe. I imagine that your culture and tradition must be very important to you. And though I've heard of the Carpathian Mountains, and of Bran's castle, I've never heard of the 'Happy Cemetery.'

Thank you. Though I could have looked at the comment below... Oh well.
As you might heard, things aren't so bright (from any point of view) in Central Europe. The word "tradition" lost its meaning around here. But there are still some symbols left like Dracula's castle, the Carpathian Mountains and the Happy Cemetery...

Aha. You mean 'warm.' A worm is a small invertebrate that lives in the ground. Other than that, your english is fairly good.

I was referring to the weather, but I'd love to hear about your country too. I enjoy talking with people from other cultures.

I appreciate the worm welcomes. Or at least that is polite of me to say.
If you are referring to the weather, it is cold out here. Though the sun had a few attempts of shining... But if you're not interested in the weather, I may say that my country hasn't changed for the last 19 years.

P.S. Excuse me if my English is bad. I try my best.

"when you pour yourself into a project, the best feeling in the world is to have someone honestly compliment your work."

You sure hit the nail on the head there, Sammy. Honestly, if I were here only to possess a place to store my works, I'd might aswell write them all down. No. I am here for feedback, praise, and advice. Everytime I finish a new piece that is indeed something I look forward to.

And just the same, I'm sure you can also realize how flattering it is to hear someone proclaim my work "of uncommonly high quality," though I myself regard my works with alittle less esteem, seeing them as merely satisfactory.

And yes, I do frequent a messenger. At most any time I can be found on MSN at giga_android@hotmail.com . And though less favorable, I also have Yahoo and AIM accounts which I use only upon special occasions. You're welcomed to converse with me by whatever means is the most convenient to you.

You are more than welcome to call me Sammy. :aww: I understand why it would be so important to you that someone enjoyed your work- when you pour yourself into a project, the best feeling in the world is to have someone honestly compliment your work. And I cannot say if it is of a higher quality than your poetry, for I do not often compare poetry and prose in that manner. I can say, however, that both your prose and poetry are of uncommonly high quality. :wow:

Do you ever use a messenger service? I think it would be fun to chat sometime, if you are interested.

So am I to take that to mean that I am allowed or disallowed to call you Sammy? I find it equally as pleasant to say Sam, or Samantha, so the decision lies upon you.

I cannot emphasize to you quite how glad I am that you enjoyed Killzone. I am glad that it struck you as being powerful, and I am glad that it appealed to your emotions as I intended it to. It is a piece which a spent a great deal of my time and spirit writing, and I dare say that it is of a higher quality (despite it's few typos, which shall soon be rectified) than any of my poetry, though I should leave that for you, the reader, to decide.

Sammy? *raises one eyebrow* Oh my dear James, now there is a name that brings back memories. I have not been called that since those deliciously awkward middle school days.

By the way, I read Killzone today. It was deeply disturbing and dark (I am obviously a master of alliteration)- which is to be expected given the subject matter. You handled it masterfully, delivering a strong, emotional piece. Well done.

Yon and Scod:  Meatloaf used to have to sit by,
While the truckies hassled his Mum.

   They disrespected her,
And he tried to protect her,
So he pulled out a projector,
And he gave them a lecture,
On how their jokes affected her.

Yon:  He told them to "Get Knotted".
Scod:  Yeah!
Tripod:  It means "Get Fucked", but nice.
Scod:  That way you still have the moral high ground.

Tripod:  You gotta make the most of the time you're allotted,
You gotta step up and say "Get Knotted".
Gatesy:  Get Knotted, Get Knotted, Get Knotted.

Yon:  Sure, he got the shit kicked out of him,
But he could hold his head up high.
Well, the truckies held his head up,
It was easier to kick it that way.

Yon and Gatesy:  Goodbye, little alarm clock,
   You've given me great times.
Gatesy:  But lately, time's been slipping away from you.
Yon and Gatesy:  Why you've given up on me, I don't know.
Tripod:  Alarm clock, don't be sour,
   You're losing all your power,
   It's your eleventh hour,
   Time to go.

Yon:  I got you when I was ten,
   Things were simpler then.
You woke me up in time for the early-bird show.
   And later on that day,
   You woke me up okay,
In time for Simon Townsend's Wonderworld.

Scod:  I slept a lot as a kid,
Oh, alarm clock, all the things we did.
Yon and Gatesy:  Yeah, yeah.
Scod:  Well, you didn't do much,
You just sat there making noise,
And now that's what I do for a living.

Yon and Gatesy:  Goodbye, little alarm clock,
   You've given me great times.
Gatesy:  But lately, time's been slipping away from you.
Yon and Gatesy:  Why you've given up on me, I don't know.
Tripod:  Alarm clock, don't be sour,
   You're losing all your power,
   It's your eleventh hour,
   Time to go.

Yon:  And when my teenage years unfurled,
When I brought home a girl,
You sat and watched and never judged me once.
But not matter who it was,
   They came second because,
Alarm clock, it's always your face that I saw.

Scod:  I was a pretty weird kid,
They said I loved you, and I did.
Yon and Gatesy:  Yeah, yeah.
Scod:  But they can keep their skateboards,
'Cause you go backwards and forwards,
Not unlike words like "glenelg" or "boob".

Gatesy:  Goodbye, little alarm clock, goodbye.

Well...Generally speaking, when one uses the word 'we', they mean 'I' and one or more additional people, those people could be 'you', or any other third party. Though in some cases it is used in a patrnoizing way to refer only to 'you'.

But in this context I believe I meant it to mean you and me.

If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this is useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all who claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told you should want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. It's not that I don't believe you, it's that I don't believe in the way your saying I don't believe you. Cause believe me, it's almost believable, but you haven't quite convinced me to believe you yet.

Hong Kong is still very very very polluted ESPECIALLY the harbours, it actually makes me wonder why they actually call it the 'Fragrant Habour' - since that's what Hong Kong really means, when you translate it directly from the Chinese name of it.

I've been writting for years, about four..I never had anybody help me. But it's nice that you'll be getting some constructive advice, that really does help in the long run. I'm sure you'll be a pro in no time.

Hello there. I live over by the Texas Motor Speedway. ANd come to find out today that they found a dead body of a male over there. They said he got drunk and passed out on the road and some one ran over him. Stupid idiot I say. But I have not been writing for that long. I havent had any teachers at my school help me write either. But next year I will have people helping me. What part of Texas you live in?

Well...I'm not sure if you meant it to be that way, or if it was merely a humorful concept to you, but I found it rather thought provoking.

Despite how trivial and mundane the killing of a petty insect may seem, it calls into question several aspects of human nature, and how an action so quick, thoughtless, and insignificant, can brand one as no longer purely innocent. It tests the line seperating play from hanus crime. The idea is silly, but it delivers the message well.

I'm sure there were a few other things that caught my attention when I first read it, but I wouldn't know what they were now.
I added it to my favorites not because it was one of your best (It was the only piece I read from you) but because it stood out when compared to the work of others.

You'll be glad to know that its given me an idea or two for a new piece of my own.
